The class of 1975 is currently in the lead in the Class vs. Class Challenge with the class of 1979 very close behind! We're accepting donations for the Avoca Veterans Community Center (AVCC) now through Monday, June 1st.
Ways to Donate:
• Check: Payable to City of Avoca – memo: Avoca Veterans Community Center Project (or) AVCC
• Drop off at City Hall between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM
• Or place in the after-hours drop box at City Hall – please drop check enclosed in an envelope with your name and contact information

Construction began on August 1, 2025, for our new Avoca Veterans Community Center (AVCC) with a current completion date of May 2026. And while project funding is secured, there are still many additional purchases needed to bring the center to life. We are reaching out now to ask for your support!
