Look at this! 🤩 Avoca Fire & Rescue is officially moved in and now operating out of their new station. We are so excited for this new chapter for our volunteer department and for the enhanced services they will be able to provide to our community and surrounding areas. 🚒
Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony during the Avoca Fire & Rescue Station Open House on Saturday, May 9th.

What sad weather for the first day of the 2026 golf season. ⛈️
Important Updates:
⛳ The Clubhouse is open, but hours may fluctuate weather depending
⛳ Be sure to watch socials for any closures due course conditions
⛳ The Flour Mill is not open for food/dining, more information to come
Additionally, we ran out of membership cards (what a great problem to have!) so there is a slight delay on membership and reciprocal cards. I will update once those have been officially dropped off at the Clubhouse.
Please contact City Hall at 712-343-2424 with any questions.

What an exciting update to kick off the 2026 season! We are happy to share that the new restroom facilities near Hole 3, Hole 7, and the Tiki Hut has officially been completed.
A big thank you goes out to Martin Construction, McCarthy Trenching, and the additional subcontractors for all of their hard work and dedication in helping complete this project!
We would also like to thank Culture & Recreation Board members Dan Rold, Sean Christensen, and Chris Petersen for donating their time to reshingle the Tiki Hut. A special thank you to Chris for also serving as the project manager throughout this effort.
This improvement enhances the experience for both local golfers and visitors by providing modern, convenient amenities that support one of our community’s valued recreational assets.
