R & S WASTE CHANGES
ATTENTION: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT
GARBAGE SERVICES
Þ All residents of Avoca will receive a free 95-gallon tipper cart from R&S Waste by the end of May.
Þ Beginning in June, the cost of garbage services will be a flat rate of $18.75/month and $12/month for any additional 95-gallon tipper carts.
Þ Please use these containers from R&S Waste once they’re delivered.
Þ R&S Waste will only collect garbage from the 95-gallon containers they provide with their logo,
Þ The first collection, with this policy in place, will be on Saturday, June 1st after the Memorial Day Monday Holiday, and then every Friday to follow.
Þ These R&S Waste carts will only be delivered to those currently without, those that already have one or more R&S Waste carts will keep them at this new rate schedule. You can return or request additional carts at any time and only be charged for the month(s) used.
Þ The process for special pick-ups has not changed, you can get a Large Item sticker at the existing rate from City Hall.
